Andrew Fesnak, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine.

He is an attending physician in the Division of Transfusion Medicine, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; the Associate Director of ITMAT Education at The Institute for Translational Medicine and Therapeutics; the Deputy Director, Clinical Cell and Vaccine Production Facility and Director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Laboratory.

Dr. Fesnak has extensive experience in the clinical manufacturing and administration of cell therapies, publishing many peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters in the field. His publication record speaks to his interest and track record in improving how cell therapies are made to improve efficacy and increase patient access.

Dr. Fesnak completed his undergraduate work at Princeton University, his medical doctorate the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine and earned a Masters in Health Care Innovation from the University of Pennsylvania.
